Who is A.B.C?

A.B.C is you, me, and everyone wanting, wishing, and working for a more resilient and sustainable future for our communities. Apiaries and Bees for Communities, although focused on honeybees as a conduit for this change, is really focused on the long-term vision of a better, brighter, and more sustainable urban lifestyle.

A.B.C's internal success is dependant on Eliese Watson (founder of A.B.C), A.B.C's Board of Advisors, and vibrant Volunteers. It is with their energy, optimism, and eagerness to support one another that A.B.C has managed so much progress since its founding in January of 2010.

Eliese Watson is as passionate about bees as she is about the community of people who keep them. Engaging and hands-on, Eliese passion for A.B.C becomes contagious when you meet her, and she will inspire you to do something more for yourself, your family and communtiy.  A.B.C's Board of Advisors includes an array of talented, inspiring, and skilled community members, eager to offer their services toward the development of A.B.C projects. To read a profile of these supportive individuals, click here.

The concepts and success of many of A.B.C's projects are supported by our community of engaged volunteers. A.B.C's volunteers not only work as mentors to other beekeepers, but put in their personal time toward the success of all A.B.C programs. It is with their support that A.B.C even exists! A.B.C also depends on the collaboration of other businesses and organizations to ensure that its events and programming remain dynamic and successful. If you would like to learn more about these individuals and organizations, please click on the links above.
